Bordeaux company EDIT designs and produces measurement instrumentation for handling production processes.

From its inception in 1999, it has built its expertise around lasers, infrared and microwave technology.

In recent years, EDIT has handled a large number of R&D projects aimed at developing instrumentation for online measurement applications, enabling it to exploit to the full its differentiation strategy. Generally rated as innovative, a number of projects have pulled down awards, including the Ministry of Agriculture 2007 Award for an infrared spectrometer for online measurement of physico-chemical multiconstituents.

In 2009, EDIT continues to pursue a strategy of growth through innovation, with eight projects designed to adapt certain of its online humidity measurement products to operate within the specific constraints of the food processing and environmental sectors. For 2010, the company aims to set up a Chinese affiliate at Wunan in Hubei province.
