Organization delegates for “Invest in Photonics 2010” convened in Brussels to finalize the program to promote both this event and the Laser Highway cluster, to the European Commission and to the European technological platform known as Photonics21.

With the support of the “Photonics Unit” of the Information and Media Society of the European Commission, this lobbying program resulted in:

• Giving legitimacy to the annual event in Bordeaux
• Confirming the support of the European Commission and of Photonics21.
• Taking cognizance of the necessity of regional lobbying among the technological platforms within the European Union, linked with the centers of excellence in Aquitaine.
